Thinking about Changing Agencies?
If you’re already fostering and considering a change, Changing Futures Fostering is here to make the transition seamless and rewarding. Our not-for-profit agency prioritizes the well-being of children and foster parents, ensuring our values align with your dedication to making a difference.
Why Choose Changing Futures Fostering?
- We’re small enough to offer individual attention but big enough to make a meaningful impact.
- As a community-focused organisation founded by an experienced charity, we prioritise children and young people above all else.
- We offer up to £453 per week and a straightforward transfer process to ensure a stress-free experience.
- As a non-for-profit, we invest all resources into supporting local children and foster families—not in flashy offices, company cars, or inflated salaries.
A Smooth Transition Process
We understand that switching agencies is a big decision, especially if you have children currently placed with you. That’s why we work closely with your current agency and local authority to ensure a smooth and stress-free transition.

The Transfer Process
Recognising your existing skill base and experience in fostering.
Step 1: Get in touch with our team and find out how our agency might be a better fit for your family. We’ll let you know more about our training opportunities and also our allowance match for the first 12 months.
Step 2: When you’re ready to take the next step and transfer you’ll need to notify your current agency.
Step 3: You’ll meet your assessing social worker. They will be completing your assessment, it’s an opportunity for us to find out about your existing skills and experience you’ve gained.
Step 4: We’ll invite you along to our Changing Futures through Training fostering course so you can meet more of our team and other foster parents.
Step 5: An independent panel will review your assessment and make a recommendation to our the Agency Decision Maker.
