We explain the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind every approach in jargon-free, clear language. Alongside the areas listed above, we also cover the basics, such as child development, fire safety and first aid, etc., all of which are considered part of mandatory training programmes. Our main aim is not only to provide you with the skills you need to understand and meet the needs of the children in your care. We also aim to give you the confidence and resilience to assess and solve problems even in challenging situations. Our ‘Changing Futures through Fostering’ programme centres around the idea that training builds understanding. It is a fully flexible training programme with a mix of digital and in-person training sessions that are scheduled at convenient times to fit around your commitments.
